Love it and the texture....a road to nowhere...simple but profound....I have to go look up Dorland's Wax Medium now.....

Hi John, nice composition! I like the simplicity and design of it. Would like to see the road a little more obscured either in the shadow or the light area to push the space even more. I like the ambition in the way you are realizing the space and abstracting the subject. Keep up the great work!

I LOVE IT. I LOVE HOW YOU USE COLORS. THE ROAD WAS THE FIRST THING THAT CAUGHT MY EYE. THERE IS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL ABOUT IT.
THIS PAINTING IS EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE GIVEN THAT THE MATERIALS YOU USED ARE FAIRLY NEW TO YOU. WAY TO GO.

John, Your 2010 landscapes are BEAUTIFUL. SOULFUL.Brushstrokes...color...lines are WONDERFUL. Your 2010 drawings are gorgeous too. I am in awe. YOU are in the LIGHT and on the SCENT!
